Coach Kate Pestova
Coach Kate - Volleyball runs deep in her veins. During her playing years, Kate had some fantastic moments on the court, becoming NCCAA Women's Volleyball First Team All-American and nabbing the title of GSAC Beach Volleyball Pair of the Year. Kate has earned the title of NAIA Second Team All-American. When Kate's not playing, she's a dedicated coach for Tsunami focusing on middle and high school levels, where she's been recognized as an NWAC All Star. Volleyball is more than just a sport for Kate; its a way of life, and she shares that passion with the next generations of players.
Coach Nolan Debrocq
Coach Nolan - Graduated from Deerfield Beach High School in 2023. Nolan is currently studying Communications at FAU, hoping to become a sports journalist. Nolan played volleyball at Pompano Beach Middle School from 2016-2018 and then at Deerfield Beach High School from 2019-2023. Nolan won the North MVP Award for the 2023 All-Star game and was ranked 10th in the state for his hitting percentage in his senior year. Besides coaching for Tsunami, he is currently Deerfield Beach High Schools head volleyball coach for both girls and boys.
Coach Juddel Perdomo
Coach Juddel - Juddel has always had a love of volleyball. He and his 4 brothers have been playing since they were little and they continue to grow in this sport. Juddel especially loves coaching his 2 younger siblings. We are lucky to have him and his positive energy he brings to our volleyball family.
Coach Kevin Skeens
Coach Kevin - Kevin serves players, coaches, and families in a season of growth and positivity as the club's Mental Toughness Coordinator. As a coach of over 30 years with a background in sports psychology, Kevin firmly believes that volleyball is 80-90% mental. Mentally tough teams have the fortitude to beat teams with more talent and develop into players they never thought they could be. Kevin teaches topics like confidence, mistake management, pre-performance readiness, and emotional control.

Our reasons for starting this club are between us!(in the photo) We created a club that is competitive but also teaches our young athletes how to be a team player, have elite mental performance and be part of a community. We foster our athletes to LOVE playing Volleyball in our Tsunami Family!
